Spirit of the Hills - Northumberland Hills Arts Association - Comprised of artists, artisans, performing artists, photographers, writers and patrons, Spirit of the Hills embraces all art forms and traditions including the performing and visual arts, media, design, and literature. Our goal is to build and sustain the Arts and Artists in Northumberland County.

Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge   Ferris Provincial Park is proud to welcome you to Northumberland's newest attraction. This great, family-oriented, natural adventure hovers 30' above the Ranney Gorge just south of the falls. As you walk across this great expanse your heart pounds as you feel it sway slightly below your feet.  Looking down you can see the water rushing by but to the north you see one of natures gifts, the Ranney Falls in all its glory. To the south you can see the Trent River and the boats as they enter the locks to come into Campbellford.

Trillium Walk: May 6, 2012 from 1 pm to 3pm, Hundreds of Trilliums throughout the park can be seen on this guided walk in Ferris Park, just outside of Campbellford.

Warkworth Community Service Club Children's Fishing Derby April 28th 7:30 am to 4 pm. Invite children 14 years of age and under to spend a day fishing for Rainbow Trout at Ryken's Pond.

Warkworth Fair - occurs September 7th to 9th in 2012 and it will be celebrating its 162nd anniversary!

Fishing Tournaments on Rice Lake and Lake Ontario  -- Rice Lake is often called a "fish factory" by the Ministry of Natural Resources and for a good reason - it still produces the most fish per acre of any lake in Ontario! Known for its bass, walleye, muskie (muskellunge) and panfish including perch, bluegill, sunfish, and crappie, the lake has a fish for all angling levels.
